Touriga Nacional 2016

"This producer has many virtues - including good price points and a fresh feel to the wines. There's not a lot of oak in use here, and the wines have admirable purity and mid-palate finesse. For those who prefer grace and elegance, these are good choices"

"The 2017 Touriga Nacional (Quinta Dona Malfada) is unoaked (...). As nice as the 2016 is, this is a step up, seeming livelier, more expressive and fruitier. It has reasonable structure for the style and the level, but it is fair to mention that it is rather delicious too. The fruit is nicely lifted. This should hold reasonably well, but it shows great now. (...). It's a nice value"
